Breeding with Jury Gold Micer from Tsjekkia (cz)
Klara Jun and Jury was coming to us in Norway for breeding with Fabio.
It was very nice to have visitors from Tsjekkia, and Klara got to see a
piece of Norway in sunshine. Now we are all waiting for to see if there are
any puppies...

FABIO: Norwegian IPO-Champion for Dobermanns!!
Judge: Peter Andreasson, Sweden
A Norwegian IPO championship for Dobermanns were held for the first time ever this weekend,
at Svartskog, close to Oslo. 3 dogs were entering IPO3. Special congrats to John and Tessie who
achieved a new title: IPO3!
Congrats to Anne Cathrine and Supreme Guardians Cilla-Lava with the best beginner B test:
93 points!

IDC World Championship 2007, Slovakia
Fabio: 5th place. A:90 B:96 C:98 Total: 284 points
43 dogs with their handlers were gathered in Vrbove in Slovakia, to attend the World Championship
for Dobermans. Me and Fabio had to obedience and protection work on Saturday and tracking on Sunday.
Saturday started out cloudy and about 25 degrees (C), but the sun broke through later on, and it got
hotter. Fabio was working with energy and concentration during the obedience routine. I had to give him
one extra commando for coming on foot after the retieve over the A-frame.
The judge, Inge Eberstaller from Austria, rewarded us with 96 points!
Quicly after the obedience, we had to do protection work. Fabio was really in drive! Everything was
working very well, despite of my lack of voice. Fabio was not sitting completely straight after the recall
from the blind, and he wasn`t sitting down completely two times in the rest of the program. The rest of
his work was brilliant! The judge, Willy Ohl from Germany, rewarded us with 98 points!!
On Sunday, we had to go for tracking. The fields were industrial shamrock. In our group, two were failing
and one got 98 points. Then it was our turn. Fabio started out calm and deep tracking, but unfortunately
he was over his first article, and 7 points away. The rest of the track, he was working out well.
The judge, Sandor Kocsis form Hungary, rewarded us with 90 points.
Our total score: 284 points and very close to the podium!!
A very big "THANKS" to Gilbert Coudron for doing such a great job as a coach!!
Congratulations to Ingar and Chuck, also from Norway, for a good result and 9th place! Ingar had just
done a operation in his knee and Chuck was one of two dogs over 8 years old.
Congratulations to the World Champion 2007: Elke Novakowski and Mona v Edertal who got the
fantastic score 296 points!!

Puppies are spotted!!
Arakia`s Made For Fun was at the vet today, to do a ultrasound check. It`s confirmed
life in there!! So now we have to wait about 3 weeks to see how many will be born.

Fabio became Swedish Show Champion today at the Swedish Winner Show 2007!!
Fabio entered the confirmation ring today, with very good results! Fabio won the working-class,
and he got a certificat; which gives him a new title: SUCH (Swedish Show Champion).
He came 4th in "the best male class", where 24 beautyful males where attending.
A big "THANKS" to Barbro, Fabio`s breeder, for handeling him!
Fabio also got the traveling trophy for "the best "korade" (Swedish Körung) and working dog!
All by all, attended 198 beautyful dogs the show, of which 60 were males. Congratulations
to all of the winners in all classes!! None mentioned, none forgotten!

Bicycle test:
Today we achieved a new tiltel: AD. We did 20 km bicycling.
It has been a beautyful day, perfect temperature, sunny and a little bit wind.
All participants, 9 dogs with their handlers, were passing the test. Congratulations to you all!!

Fabio is vWD clear!
The results from the lab in Germany arrived today.
It confirms that Fabio does not have the disease von Willebrand and it also confirms that he is not a bearer
of the gene.
This is the same result as his mother, Gillian, and his sister, Fama, got when they were tested.

Puppies are spotted!
Briska`s Tessie was at the vet today, to do a ultrasound check. The breeder, Laila, and the vet spotted one
immediately, like he or she was saying: Hello, here I am! It`s confirmed life in there! Now we just have to
wait and see how many will be born, in the beginning of April. They are made on a Sunday- most likely born
during a Holiday: must become a bunch of ANGLES :)

CAC (Selection trail for Belgium for FCI WC 2007) in the club DHAV Diest, Belgium
Once again I was in Belgium in order to do a competition. This time a CAC competition in the club DHAV in Diest.
I picked the last start number for tracking. It was sunny and warm and a couple of rain showers in the morning.
The tracking fields were big and normal conditions for a competition at this level.
Fabio was tracking calm and deep, and was quickly down on all the articles. The judge, Christian Descamps,
rewarded us with 100 points!!
Fabio was working well with me in the obedience too, dispite of the heat. We lost most of the points for not sitting
straight enough after coming on foot. We ended up with 93 points.
The protection work was exellent. The points we lost was because I was nervous and gave two double commandoes,
which wasn`t nesscesary. Shame on me! :) We got 96 points.
The total score was 289 points ( place two ). I was happy with Fabio`s work! Congratulations to Freddy van Horenbeek with his
mallinois, Bor V/D Berlexhoeve. He was winning with 289 points (97, 95, 97). Freddy and Bor is in the Belgium
team for the FCI WC 2006. I wish him good luck!
The club did arrange the competition very well, and it`s always nice to meet lot of friendly people, such as this time.
